Hoy te hablaremos de las propiedades excepcionales de la cebolla, ingrediente fundamental en la dieta vegana:

Cebolla en la dieta vegana

La cebolla es imprescindible en la cocina pues es uno de los condimentos más empleados en la cultura gastronómica mediterránea. Gracias a su jugosidad, la cebolla permite cocinar con muy poco aceite y agua.

Encurtida, frita, rebozada, hervida, al horno o cruda la cebolla aporta un sabor exquisito en las comidas. Por lo tanto, al añadirla como complemento en la dieta vegana estaremos incorporando un alimento que añade sabor y que tiene gran valor nutricional para la salud.

Disfruta de este alimento e incorpóralo en tu lista de alimentos veganos.

Propiedades nutricionales de la cebolla

Vitaminas A, B1, C, E ( Antioxidantes)

Minerales : Calcio, magnesio, yodo, cobalto, cobre, hierro, fósforo, níquel. potasio, silicio, azufre, bromo.

Otros: tiene volátiles esenciales (alillo), que se liberan al cortar la cebolla y son las que nos hacen llorar y es el principal responsable de las propiedades fungicidas y bactericidas de la cebolla.



Componentes activos de la cebolla

Aminoácidos: ácido glutámico, argenina, lisina, glicina.

Minerales: Potasio, Fósforo, Calcio, magnesio, sodio, azufre y en cantidades menores: hierro, manganeso, zinc, cobre y selenio.

Vitaminas: Vitamina C, ácido fólico, Vitamina E.

Aceite esencial con muchos componentes sulfurosos: disulfuro de alilpropilo, metilanilina.

Quercetina: ideal para el tratamiento capilar.

Aliina, en menos proporción que el ajo.

En cuanto a sus componentes principales aproximadamente son: agua(89%), glúcidos (8,6%), fibra(1.6%) proteínas (1,2%) y grasas (0.2%).



🤤🤤 Ideas apetitosas con cebolla

Idea apetitosa 1: Come trocitos de TOFU con cuadritos de cebolla y tomate… acompañado de albahaca.

Puedes Aderezarlo con aceite de oliva o vegetal y sal al gusto.

Idea apetitosa 2. Salteado de patatas con cebolla

Ingredientes: 5 Patatas medianas , 2 Cebollas blancas, aceite de oliva y sal.

Preparación: Tome unas 5 patatas grandes, colóquelas a hervir hasta que se ablanden.

Tome una sartén, coloque un poco de aceite. (Dos cucharadas soperas de aceite vegetal ) y sofría las cebollas cortadas en ruedas a fuego lento.

Espere que las cebollas se ablanden y coloque las patatas cortadas en ruedas en el mismo sartén.

Mientras se sofríen espolvoree al gusto una pizca de sal. Una vez la cebolla este dorada, apártelo del fuego y tendrá un estupendo acompañante para su comida.

Ideal para comer con granos y ensaladas.
